Registered Nurse IR - Byron, GA

In this contract position, you’ll provide skilled care and support within a dynamic radiology department, collaborating with a committed multidisciplinary team.

Schedule/Hours:

• 10-hour day shifts, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM, four days per week
• On-call responsibilities every 5th week:
  • Monday–Friday, 5:00 PM–7:00 AM
  • Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
• No mandatory weekend shifts except for on-call coverage
• Call required on holidays only

Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology preferred
• Proven ability in all aspects of radiology nursing coverage
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Comfort with call, ability to respond to urgent procedure needs promptly

Responsibilities:

• Support and monitor patients before, during, and after interventional radiology procedures
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and radiology technologists
• Deliver patient education and provide compassionate care throughout procedures
• Respond promptly to on-call needs as scheduled every 5th week
• Manage paperwork, documentation, and care coordination with accuracy and attention to detail

$2,420 - $2,560/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
