A full-time opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Interventional Radiology. The current team requires an RN to provide support and continuity of care for patients, as the previous IR RN will be departing in mid-August. The role focuses exclusively on vascular procedures—without any neuro or stroke cases involved. You will work alongside a dedicated team handling a range of cases, including pulmonary embolism interventions, thrombectomies, deep vein thrombosis (DVT), angiograms, fistula management, and nephrostomies; there are no cardiac catheterization cases in this position.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active, unencumbered RN license
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in Interventional Radiology—vascular procedures required
  • Strong skills assisting with PE interventions, thrombectomies, DVT management, angiograms, fistulas, and nephrostomies
  • Comfortable in an advanced clinical environment with the ability to adapt to changing needs
  • Excellent patient communication, time management, and critical thinking skills
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive pre-, intra-, and post-procedural nursing care for vascular IR patients
  • Monitor patient status and respond rapidly to changes during procedures
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, technologists, and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Support safe, sterile technique and adherence to evidence-based protocols
  • Document care accurately within EMR systems and provide clear handover to subsequent shifts
