Qualifications:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years’ nursing experience, preferably with recent Interventional Radiology expertise
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications
- Proficiency in pre-procedural patient assessment, monitoring during procedures, and post-procedure care
- Strong IV and sedation skills
- Excellent clinical judgement with a calm, professional demeanor in high-stress situations
- Collaborative attitude and clear, compassionate communication with patients and peers
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing a range of interventional radiology procedures
- Prepare patients pre-procedure, ensuring consent, safety protocols, and proper documentation are complete
- Monitor patient status during procedures, including vital signs, comfort, and sedation levels
- Anticipate the needs of the interventional radiologist and maintain a sterile field during procedures
- Initiate and manage IV lines, administer medications, and assist with moderate sedation
- Provide thorough post-procedure patient education, monitor recovery, and document care provided
- Respond promptly to complications or emergencies, following facility protocols
- Foster a safe, supportive environment for patients and families

$2,709 - $2,856/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
