IR Registered Nurse in Cape May Court House, NJ

Exciting opportunity available for a Registered Nurse experienced in Interventional Radiology. This 13-week assignment provides a dynamic environment where your specialized skills will be valued and you’ll play a vital role in patient care during diagnostic and therapeutic radiology procedures.

Schedule:

• Five days per week, 7.5 hours per day
• Rotating start times: 7:00 am – 3:00 pm, 7:30 am – 3:30 pm, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, or 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
• Weekly rotation through each shift

Qualifications:

• Active New Jersey RN license (required)
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Interventional Radiology nursing
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
• Strong IV skills, procedural sedation competency, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team
• Excellent assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert pre-, intra-, and post-procedural nursing care in an Interventional Radiology setting
• Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after procedures, managing sedation and responding to emergencies as needed
• Collaborate closely with interventionalists, radiology technologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold strict safety and infection control protocols
• Educate patients and their families regarding procedures and post-care instructions
