A healthcare organization is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in Interventional Radiology to support their team for a 13-week contract. This position is ideal for professionals who can work collaboratively in a fast-paced procedural department and are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Five days per week, 7.5 hours per day
  • Rotating shifts: 7a–3p, 7:30a–3:30p, 8a–4p, or 9a–5p

Required Qualifications:

  • Current RN license in the state of New Jersey
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
  • Experience with interventional radiology nursing procedures and protocols
  • Adaptability with various shift start times and a rotating schedule across shifts
  • Strong communication skills, professional demeanor, and the ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary clinical environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and technologists to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
  • Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after procedures, responding promptly to any changes in condition
  • Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, medications administered, and patient status throughout interventions
  • Adhere to infection control, safety standards, and departmental policies
