A rewarding contract opportunity awaits experienced Registered Nurses specializing in Interventional Radiology. This 13-week role supports a dynamic healthcare environment and is ideal for candidates with a strong clinical skillset and adaptability to rotating shifts.
Schedule/Hours:
- 5 days per week, 7.5 hours per day
- Shift timing rotates between: 7a–3p, 7:30a–3:30p, 8a–4p, or 9a–5p on a weekly basis
Qualifications:
- Valid and current NJ RN License required
- Active BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications
- Proven clinical experience as an RN in Interventional Radiology or closely related nursing area
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to high-quality, compassionate patient care
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures, ensuring safety and optimal clinical outcomes
- Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures, efficiently identifying and addressing changes in condition
- Administer medications per protocol and assist with sedation under the direction of a physician
- Provide patient and family education on procedures, aftercare, and health management
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation in medical records
- Adhere to all safety protocols, infection control measures, and regulatory standards
