Schedule/Hours

• 0-hour day shift, 40 hours per week
• Day shift only
• No weekend rotation between weekends and weekdays; travelers remain on assigned days and shifts per the contract
• Call coverage is staffed with a fair rotation among team members, with frequency dependent on team size to ensure equitable responsibility
• Holiday coverage is expected unless pre-approved otherwise

Preferred Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license
• At least 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology (IR) nursing
• Previous experience as an RN in high-acuity hospital settings, with demonstrated skill in IR procedures
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Exceptional clinical assessment skills, ability to adapt quickly, and a focus on patient safety

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with radiologists, technologists, and other clinical staff to ensure safe and effective patient experiences during interventional procedures
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, providing vital support and rapid response as needed
• Manage IV access, administer moderate sedation, and deliver targeted nursing interventions per provider orders
• Maintain meticulous documentation and adhere to hospital policies and regulatory standards
• Participate in equitable call coverage rotation and assist with holiday coverage as scheduled
• Provide patient and family education regarding procedures, recovery, and ongoing care
