Travel Registered Nurse IR - Decatur, GA

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• Demonstrated experience in Interventional Radiology or similar procedural settings
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and IV skills
• Familiarity with monitoring and moderate sedation administration
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Proficiency in electronic medical record systems

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist with pre-procedure patient assessments and education
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields while adhering to infection control standards
• Support radiologists and physicians during interventions, monitoring patient status throughout
• Administer moderate sedation and monitor patient response as indicated
• Document all care delivered and observations in the electronic medical record accurately
• Manage post-procedural patient recovery and provide discharge instructions
• Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies or changes in patient condition
