Key Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Demonstrated clinical experience in Interventional Radiology required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Proficiency in monitoring patients during IR procedures, administering moderate sedation, and responding to emergencies
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt to procedural workflows

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care for patients undergoing IR procedures, including pre-, intra-, and post-procedural assessments
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage IV lines per protocol
• Collaborate closely with physicians, radiologic technologists, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality outcomes
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
• Educate patients and families about procedures and post-procedure care instructions
• Uphold best practices in infection control and patient safety throughout each stage of care
