IR Registered Nurse in Egg Harbor Township, NJ

Take on a vital role supporting Interventional Radiology procedures as an experienced Registered Nurse. In this contract position, you will work collaboratively with radiologists and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment.

Schedule:

• 5 days a week, 7.5 hours per day
• Shifts will vary, rotating weekly: 7:00am–3:00pm, 7:30am–3:30pm, 8:00am–4:00pm, or 9:00am–5:00pm

Qualifications:

• Active New Jersey RN license required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications
• Prior experience in Interventional Radiology nursing (RN – IR) necessary
• Strong knowledge of moderate sedation, sterile techniques, and vascular access
• Exceptional clinical judgment, communication, and patient advocacy skills
• Ability to adapt swiftly to changing priorities and support a collaborative procedure suite

Key Responsibilities:

• Support radiologists during complex minimally invasive procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout
• Assess, monitor, and document patient vital signs and status before, during, and after IR procedures
• Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies in alignment with strict sterile protocols
• Administer and monitor moderate sedation per hospital policy and state regulations
• Provide clear patient education pre- and post-procedure, offering compassionate guidance and addressing concerns
• Collaborate closely with physicians, technologists, and ancillary staff to maintain efficient workflow and excellent patient outcomes
