Take on a vital role in a dynamic Interventional Radiology department, where specialized nursing skills make a significant impact on patient outcomes. This 13-week assignment is ideal for registered nurses with IR experience who thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced clinical environment and are ready to deliver exceptional care in advanced radiology procedures.

Schedule:

• 5 days per week, 7.5 hours per day
• Rotating shifts: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Weekly schedule will include rotation through each shift

Qualifications:

• Active New Jersey RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Proven nursing experience in Interventional Radiology (IR)
• Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly and maintain composure in a busy procedural setting
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide safe, proficient nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures
• Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and other healthcare professionals throughout diagnostic and therapeutic interventions
• Monitor and manage patient status before, during, and after procedures, reacting quickly to changes
• Administer medications and IV sedation as needed, adhering strictly to protocols
• Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery expectations, and post-care instructions
• Document all aspects of patient care accurately and promptly
