Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in New York State (or compact license if applicable)
• Two or more years’ recent experience in Interventional Radiology (IR)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong IV, critical thinking, and acute care skills
• Excellent communication, multitasking, and team collaboration abilities

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, monitor, and recover patients undergoing IR procedures
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional radiology cases
• Administer medications and contrast agents as directed
• Ensure high standards of patient safety and infection control
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and responses
• Provide patient and family education regarding IR procedures and post-care
