Embark on a highly specialized nursing role within a dynamic, cutting-edge Interventional Radiology department. This contract opportunity focuses on complex cardiac, neuro, and vascular procedures in a fast-paced OR environment, ideal for experienced professionals seeking to advance their clinical acumen.
Schedule:
- 12-hour night shifts: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (1830-0700)
- No required call; in-house night shift coverage
- Flexibility to stay late occasionally if cases extend past scheduled hours
Qualifications:
- Active RN license required
- ARRT certification must be on file before submission
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Cardiac Cath Lab (structural heart emphasis preferred) and/or Electrophysiology (EP) strongly preferred
- Relevant clinical background in vascular and neuro-interventional radiology within an OR setting
- Prior experience in Level I Trauma Center and with oncology patients a plus
- Previous travel nursing experience is beneficial
Responsibilities:
- Assist with advanced cardiac procedures, including both endovascular and open surgical cases
- Deliver expert care to neuro and vascular patients in high-acuity Interventional OR Suites, collaborating closely with surgical technologists and physicians
- Operate and support procedures using advanced imaging equipment (2 Phillips, 3 Siemens units) across five busy suites
- Ensure compliance with standards of care in a stroke-accredited center, including stent placements and rapid response interventions
- Work collaboratively with the clinical team, providing support and expertise in complex scenarios
