Take on a vital role in a dynamic interventional radiology department as a Registered Nurse specialized in Interventional Radiology (IR). This contract opportunity offers a day shift schedule—0hr, 40 hours weekly—with consistent shifts and a collaborative environment where travelers work alongside permanent staff to deliver excellent patient care.

Schedule/Hours:

• Day shifts, 40 hours per week
• No required weekend or weekday rotations; your days and shifts remain consistent throughout your contract
• Call responsibilities are shared equally among full-time, part-time, PRN, and traveler members in a fair rotation determined by the team size
• Holiday coverage may be required unless advanced approval is obtained

Qualifications:

• Active RN license with good standing
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Interventional Radiology or a comparable setting
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills
• Previous experience in peri-procedural nursing, conscious sedation, and vascular access preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status before, during, and after procedures
• Collaborate closely with radiologists, technologists, and the broader healthcare team for smooth, safe procedures
• Maintain strict adherence to aseptic technique and safety practices
• Respond efficiently to emergencies and participate in call-back coverage as scheduled
• Ensure continuity of care and clear communication throughout each patient’s care journey
