Key Qualifications:

  • Current and active RN license
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Interventional Radiology (IR) or a relevant acute care setting
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Strong assessment, IV insertion, and critical thinking skills
  • Comfort working with advanced imaging and radiological equipment
  • Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities

Schedule/Hours:

  • Schedule and shift details will be discussed during the interview

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care before, during, and after diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures
  • Closely monitor patients’ vital signs and reactions to medications or treatments
  • Collaborate with interventional radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Administer sedation, manage IVs, and respond swiftly to emergencies or complications
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to established protocols for patient safety
  • Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery, and aftercare instructions
