Schedule/Hours:

  • Contract position—specific hours and shifts will be discussed during the interview process

Qualifications:

  • Current and unrestricted RN license
  • Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in Interventional Radiology, Cath Lab, or a closely related specialty
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrated proficiency in monitoring patients before, during, and after procedures
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment and adapt to changing situations

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for interventional radiology procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and radiology technologists to support both routine and emergency procedures
  • Monitor patient status during procedures, administering medications and interventions as needed
  • Provide patient education regarding procedures, recovery, and after-care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation per hospital policy
  • Contribute to ongoing quality improvement and uphold best practices in patient care
