Schedule/Hours:

  • Full-time hours required

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active RN license in good standing
  • Previous experience in Interventional Radiology (IR) required
  • Proficiency in vascular procedures such as PE, thrombectomies, DVT, angiograms, fistulas, and nephrostomies
  • Comfort working exclusively on vascular cases (no neuro, stroke, or cath procedures involved)
  • Strong critical thinking and crisis management abilities
  • Commitment to excellent patient communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care throughout all interventional processes
  • Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after vascular IR procedures
  • Prepare procedure suites, assist physicians during interventions, and manage necessary equipment
  • Administer IV medications, monitor sedation, and respond swiftly to any complications
  • Provide detailed education and support to patients and their families regarding procedures and post-intervention care
  • Maintain accurate documentation and participate in quality initiatives as assigned
