Key Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted RN license
• Experience in Interventional Radiology (IR) nursing required
• Strong knowledge of IR procedures, equipment, and sterile technique
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with radiologists, technicians, and other healthcare professionals
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care before, during, and after IR procedures
• Monitor and assess patient condition, responding promptly to emergent situations
• Administer and monitor medications, including moderate sedation as per protocol
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records
• Ensure proper preparation and recovery of patients for various IR procedures
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures and post-care instructions
• Maintain a safe, aseptic, and supportive environment for both patients and staff
