Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with radiology physicians and support staff to ensure safe, high-quality patient care before, during, and after interventional radiology procedures.
  • Monitor patient conditions, respond swiftly to changes, and provide expert clinical interventions.
  • Adhere to facility-specific safety protocols, prepping patients and equipment, administering medications, and leveraging advanced imaging technologies.
  • Educate patients and their families about procedures and post-procedural care, prioritizing comfort and understanding.
  • Document assessments, medications, and treatments accurately in patient records.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to maintain and elevate care standards.

Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted RN license.
  • Minimum of one year of recent experience in Interventional Radiology or a closely related specialty.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (current).
  • Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking capabilities.
