Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in Interventional Radiology nursing
- Ability to manage patients pre- and post-IR procedures
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Solid IV skills and proficiency with moderate sedation
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational abilities
Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment, flexible scheduling may be available
Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and other team members to ensure safe, patient-centered care before, during, and after IR procedures
- Assess, monitor, and document patient status and vital signs throughout interventions
- Provide education and support to patients and families about procedures and recovery
- Maintain strict infection control and safety protocols
- Respond swiftly to patient needs and procedural complications
