Schedule/Hours:
- Monday through Friday
- Call required every 3rd weekend
- Varying start times
Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
- Prepare patients for procedures, provide post-procedure monitoring, and administer medications as needed
- Maintain precise documentation and uphold all facility protocols
- Respond promptly to emergent situations in the IR suite
Qualifications:
- Active RN license, with experience in Interventional Radiology required
- Proven expertise in IR nursing practices, including prep, monitoring, and recovery
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, procedure-based settings
- Strong communication and adaptability skills
- BLS, ACLS certification preferred
