Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) | Morristown, New Jersey

Step into an engaging role supporting advanced diagnostic and interventional vascular/neuro-interventional procedures alongside a multidisciplinary team. This position focuses on delivering high-quality care in a dynamic radiology-special procedures environment, where your expertise will be valued and showcased.

Schedule:

• 36 hours per week, part-time
• 3 x 12-hour shifts or 4 x 10-hour shifts
• On-call required: every 4th weekend and 1 day per week
• Contract duration from August 24, 2026 through November 21, 2026

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 3-5 years as an Interventional Radiologic Technologist or Cardiovascular Technologist with current NJ radiographic licensure
• Previous experience scrub assisting in interventional radiology procedures
• Proficiency with floor and ceiling mounted fluoroscopic modalities
• Strong knowledge in identifying, retrieving, and circulating complex products during interventional cases
• Familiarity with post-procedure groin management and infection prevention
• BLS certification (AHS credentialed American Heart Association or equivalent)
• Current Radiography (R) certification through ARRT
• Ability to critically think, maintain sterile technique, and effectively operate power injection devices
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Education:

• Associate degree, High School Diploma/GED, or completion of an accredited radiographic program

Responsibilities:

• Scrubbing and assisting proceduralists during advanced vascular and neuro-interventional radiology procedures
• Using closed-loop communication and collaborating with nurses, radiologists, and vascular surgeons
• Accurately documenting in electronic medical records and sending images to the Sectra/PACs system
• Setting up procedural trays, managing post-procedural care, and maintaining compliance with sterile and infection prevention protocols
• Participating in on-call rotation as scheduled
