Step into a specialized clinical role supporting state-of-the-art interventional radiology procedures. As a Registered Nurse within interventional radiology, you’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient care before, during, and after image-guided interventions.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Contract position (duration discussed upon interview)

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active, unrestricted RN license
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in interventional radiology or IR nursing
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Strong critical thinking and assessment abilities
  • Experience managing moderate sedation, conscious sedation, and patient monitoring during procedures
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic team

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for IR procedures, including education, assessment, and monitoring
  • Assist physicians and technologists during catheterizations, angiograms, biopsies, drain placements, and other vascular or interventional procedures
  • Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes throughout the procedure
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory standards and facility policy
  • Provide post-procedural care, including hemodynamic monitoring, assessment, and discharge planning
  • Ensure strict adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols

$2,709 - $2,856/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
