Interventional Radiology (RN) | Ocean City, New Jersey

Embark on a rewarding opportunity as a Registered Nurse specializing in Interventional Radiology for a 13-week contract assignment. This position is designed for nursing professionals with a passion for delivering high-quality care in a dynamic procedural setting. As part of the Interventional Radiology team, you'll combine your clinical expertise with advanced imaging technology to support complex procedures and patient care.

Schedule:

• Five days per week
• 7.5-hour shifts: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, or 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Weekly rotation through available shifts

Qualifications:

• Active and current NJ RN License required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Previous experience in Interventional Radiology strongly preferred
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Strong patient assessment and critical-thinking skills
• Adaptability to a fast-paced environment and flexible schedule

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive pre-, intra-, and post-procedural nursing care for patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures
• Assist radiologists and physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic interventions
• Monitor patient status, documenting all care and changes in condition
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery, and follow-up care
• Communicate effectively with technologists, physicians, and support staff
