IR Registered Nurse in Ocean City, NJ

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with a strong background in Interventional Radiology to provide expert care in a contract role. This 13-week assignment requires someone passionate about procedural nursing, patient advocacy, and interdisciplinary teamwork.

Schedule:

• 5 days per week
• 7.5-hour shifts
• Rotating shift times: 7a-3p, 7:30a-3:30p, 8a-4p, or 9a-5p

Qualifications:

• Current NJ RN license required
• Active BLS and ACLS certification
• Recent experience in Interventional Radiology nursing
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt to varied shift times and work efficiently in a dynamic environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to patients during interventional radiology procedures
• Collaborate closely with physicians, technologists, and the healthcare team to ensure safe and efficient care
• Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures, intervening promptly if complications arise
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures, aftercare, and follow-up care
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility policies
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives and uphold the highest standards of patient safety
