Desired Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Previous experience in Interventional Radiology (IR) required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Proficiency in monitoring patients during procedures and managing conscious sedation
• Strong IV insertion and central line skills
• Excellent critical thinking and rapid response abilities
• Outstanding communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures, including assessment, monitoring, and post-procedure recovery
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and technologists to ensure safe, efficient workflows and best patient outcomes
• Administer medications and IV contrast; maintain accurate records and documentation
• Respond effectively to emergencies and support patient safety throughout all procedures
• Educate patients and families about procedures, post-care, and follow-up as needed
• Uphold strict infection control and safety standards
