Qualifications & Experience:

• Active RN licensure in good standing
• Prior experience in Interventional Radiology or similar procedural nursing environments
• Proficiency with monitoring patients during moderate sedation and interventional procedures
• Solid understanding of sterile techniques, patient safety, and radiology equipment
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• ACLS and BLS certifications preferred

Schedule & Hours:

• Contract position with a schedule to be provided at assignment
• Flexibility for some on-call or variable shifts may be required

Role Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for interventional procedures, including assessments and IV starts
• Collaborate closely with interventional radiologists, technologists, and other nursing staff
• Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures, documenting condition and interventions as specified by protocols
• Administer medications and provide patient education regarding procedures and recovery expectations
• Uphold infection control protocols and ensure accurate charting throughout patient care
• Respond effectively to any emergencies or complications during procedures
