Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Previous experience with Interventional Radiology (IR) is strongly preferred
  • BLS and ACLS certifications are required
  • Strong clinical skills in assessment, monitoring, and procedural support
  • Excellent communication abilities and the flexibility to work collaboratively with a fast-paced team
  • Ability to respond calmly and efficiently in emergency situations

Schedule/Hours:

  • Contract position with potential for extension based on facility needs
  • Shifts and hours will be discussed during the interview process to accommodate both facility requirements and candidate availability

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with preparing patients and equipment for radiology procedures
  • Monitor patients’ status throughout procedures and during post-procedure recovery
  • Provide patient education and follow-up instructions
  • Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and other clinical staff to ensure safe procedural outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation within patient records
  • Uphold all policies regarding patient safety, infection control, and confidentiality
