Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current, unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of one year RN experience in interventional radiology or a similar acute care setting
• Strong IV skills, including port, central line care, and vascular access
• Comprehensive understanding of procedural sedation and post-procedure monitoring
• Ability to communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team and patients
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, technology-driven environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, compassionate, and proficient nursing care during interventional radiology procedures
• Monitor patients pre-, intra-, and post-procedure, identifying complications and responding appropriately
• Collaborate closely with physicians, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate optimal procedure outcomes
• Administer medications, perform patient assessments, and manage detailed documentation
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures, aftercare, and follow-up instructions
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols within the department
• Uphold standards of regulatory and hospital policy compliance
