Key Qualifications:

• Current, unencumbered RN license
• Demonstrated experience in Interventional Radiology nursing
• Proficiency in critical care skills, including IV placement, monitoring patient status, and assisting with interventional procedures
• ACLS and BLS certifications (required)
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Adaptable, resourceful, and collaborative in a fast-paced environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic IR procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, recognizing and responding promptly to any complications
• Provide comprehensive patient education regarding procedures and post-care instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility standards
• Follow strict infection control protocols and work closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
