Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid and unrestricted RN license
- Proven experience in Interventional Radiology (IR) nursing
- Proficient in prepping, monitoring, and supporting patients during IR procedures
- Strong understanding of pre- and post-procedure patient assessments
- Familiarity with IR equipment and best safety practices
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians during a variety of IR procedures such as angiograms, biopsies, drainages, and stent placements
- Prepare and educate patients before procedures, addressing questions or concerns
- Monitor patient vitals and administer conscious sedation or other medications as directed
- Provide vigilant post-procedure observation, ensuring quick identification and response to any complications
- Document care and patient responses accurately in the medical record
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care from admission to discharge
- Maintain strict infection control and safety standards at all times

$2,783 - $2,944/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
