Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) | Warwick, Rhode Island

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse with expertise in Interventional Radiology to contribute to an advanced medical team. This contract role spans 13 weeks and is designed for professionals skilled in supporting both body and neuro interventional cases, including urgent stroke protocols.

Schedule/Hours:

• 7:00am – 5:30pm or 8:00am – 6:30pm shifts
• Call required 1–2 nights per week (call starts at 6:30pm after a 8:00am–6:30pm shift, ends at 7:00am)
• Weekend call rotation: one weekend every 5–8 weeks (Saturday 7:00am to Monday 7:00am)
• Must be able to respond within 30 minutes during call

Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted RN license in Rhode Island
• BLS certification required
• Prior experience in Interventional Radiology nursing, including both body and neuro cases
• Demonstrated ability to assist with acute stroke interventions and procedures
• Strong teamwork, adaptability, and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care and monitoring to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures
• Collaborate with physicians and technicians to ensure safe and effective delivery of care
• Circulate and assist during both scheduled and emergent IR procedures, with special proficiency in neurovascular and stroke-related interventions
• Maintain accurate records and documentation according to established protocols
• Respond to calls promptly and participate fully in the required on-call rotation, ensuring timely intervention for emergent cases

$2,393 - $2,532/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
