Key Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted RN license
- Specialized experience in Interventional Radiology (IR) nursing
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and IV skills
- Ability to provide patient education and pre/post-procedure care
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians in prepping and circulating during IR procedures
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and respond proactively to changes in status
- Manage and administer medications and IV contrast as needed
- Provide thorough documentation of care and interventions in patient records
- Prepare procedure rooms and equipment for scheduled cases
- Offer support and information to patients and families throughout their experience
