Qualifications:

  • Current RN license in good standing
  • Demonstrated experience in Interventional Radiology (IR) or procedural nursing
  • Strong understanding of IV sedation, patient monitoring, and sterile technique
  • ACLS and BLS certifications required
  • Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced setting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and implement care for patients undergoing IR procedures
  • Monitor patient status before, during, and after interventions, responding promptly to changes
  • Prepare and administer medications, including conscious sedation, as directed
  • Educate patients and families on procedures, aftercare, and follow-up
  • Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols
  • Document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately
  • Support physicians and technologists during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
