Take the next step in your nursing career with an exciting 13-week opportunity specializing in Interventional Radiology. In this dynamic contract role, you'll play a vital part in a collaborative healthcare team, working directly with patients undergoing radiologic procedures and supporting both physicians and fellow staff.
Schedule:
- Five days per week
- 7.5-hour shifts
- Rotating shifts: 7:00a–3:00p, 7:30a–3:30p, 8:00a–4:00p, or 9:00a–5:00p
Qualifications:
- Current and valid NJ RN license required
- BLS and ACLS certifications are essential
- Previous experience in Interventional Radiology (IR) as an RN highly preferred
- Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, procedural setting
- Collaborative attitude and excellent communication abilities
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive RN care throughout various interventional radiology procedures
- Monitor and assess patient status before, during, and after procedures
- Prepare equipment and supplies, maintaining a sterile and organized environment
- Assist the radiology team with technical aspects of patient care
- Administer medications and IV conscious sedation as ordered
- Document all aspects of patient care accurately in medical records
- Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams and support patient education
