IR RN in Wildwood, NJ

Take your nursing expertise to the next level by providing vital care and support in an Interventional Radiology setting. This 13-week nursing contract offers an engaging environment for Registered Nurses skilled in Interventional Radiology, where you’ll collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Schedule:

• 5 days per week, 7.5 hours per shift
• Rotating shift schedule: 7:00am–3:00pm, 7:30am–3:30pm, 8:00am–4:00pm, or 9:00am–5:00pm

Required Qualifications:

• Active NJ RN License
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Demonstrated experience in Interventional Radiology nursing
• Strong organizational skills and attention to protocol

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in a hospital or busy outpatient Interventional Radiology environment
• Familiarity with pre- and post-procedure care for IR patients
• Capability to adapt to quickly changing situations

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions throughout intake, procedure, and recovery phases
• Coordinate care closely with radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare providers
• Educate patients and families about procedures, aftercare, and follow-up
• Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and infection prevention protocols
