Registered Nurse IR - Wildwood, New Jersey

Take the next step in your nursing career with an exciting 13-week opportunity specializing in Interventional Radiology. In this dynamic contract role, you'll play a vital part in a collaborative healthcare team, working directly with patients undergoing radiologic procedures and supporting both physicians and fellow staff.

Schedule:

• Five days per week
• 7.5-hour shifts
• Rotating shifts: 7:00a–3:00p, 7:30a–3:30p, 8:00a–4:00p, or 9:00a–5:00p

Qualifications:

• Current and valid NJ RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications are essential
• Previous experience in Interventional Radiology (IR) as an RN highly preferred
• Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, procedural setting
• Collaborative attitude and excellent communication abilities

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive RN care throughout various interventional radiology procedures
• Monitor and assess patient status before, during, and after procedures
• Prepare equipment and supplies, maintaining a sterile and organized environment
• Assist the radiology team with technical aspects of patient care
• Administer medications and IV conscious sedation as ordered
• Document all aspects of patient care accurately in medical records
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams and support patient education
