Key Qualifications:
- Active, unrestricted RN license
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Interventional Radiology nursing (IR)
- Strong understanding of IR procedures and patient monitoring
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to respond promptly to emergencies and procedure changes
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients before, during, and after interventional radiology procedures
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and comfort, promptly recognizing and reporting changes
- Collaborate closely with interventional radiologists, technologists, and other team members to ensure safe and effective care
- Prepare procedure rooms, maintain sterility, and ensure proper equipment setup
- Administer medications, IV moderate sedation, and manage medication documentation
- Facilitate patient and family education regarding procedures, aftercare, and follow-up
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record

$2,904 - $3,072/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
