Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) | Williamsburg, Michigan

Deliver specialized patient care and assist with minimally invasive procedures in an interventional radiology environment as a skilled Registered Nurse. Key Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of 1 year experience in Interventional Radiology nursing (IR)
• Strong understanding of IR procedures and patient monitoring
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to respond promptly to emergencies and procedure changes

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients before, during, and after interventional radiology procedures
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and comfort, promptly recognizing and reporting changes
• Collaborate closely with interventional radiologists, technologists, and other team members to ensure safe and effective care
• Prepare procedure rooms, maintain sterility, and ensure proper equipment setup
• Administer medications, IV moderate sedation, and manage medication documentation
• Facilitate patient and family education regarding procedures, aftercare, and follow-up
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record
