Schedule/Hours:
- Shift: Saturday-Monday, 7:00 pm – 7:00 am (36 hours/week)
- 13-week assignment
- Start Date: 8/31
What You'll Do:
- Provide direct care to mothers and infants during labor, delivery, and recovery phases
- Monitor patient progress, administer medications, and assist physicians with procedures
- Support families and educate patients about care before, during, and after delivery
- Respond quickly and calmly to emergencies or changes in patient conditions
- Maintain accurate patient records and work collaboratively with the healthcare team
Qualifications:
- Current RN license
- Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- BLS and NRP certifications (preferred or as required by the facility)
- Excellent critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new settings and work independently
