Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) nursing environment
• Current BLS certification (AHA preferred)
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team
• Familiarity with EMR systems and accurate documentation

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and individualized patient care based on patient assessment and treatment plans in the Med Surg unit
• Monitor and document patient condition, vital signs, and progress
• Administer medications, perform treatments, and assist with procedures as needed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate and optimize patient care
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and ongoing health needs
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to infection control standards and hospital policies
