In this dynamic medical-surgical environment, you'll work alongside a dedicated staff of 40, covering a 44-bed unit and encountering a broad spectrum of patient cases. Expand your portfolio with skills in Meditech EMR (orientation provided), adapt to patient ratios of 1:5—occasionally 1:6—and collaborate closely with skilled CNAs. With telemetry management, cross-unit floating, and the support of nurse aides, this assignment promises both challenge and reward.

Schedule/Hours

• 12-hour shifts, 6:45–7:15 (day and night shifts available)
• Every other weekend required
• Holidays as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years Medical-Surgical RN experience
• At least 1 prior travel nursing assignment
• Active RN license
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications (AHA only)
• Previous Meditech EMR experience preferred, not required

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional patient care in a fast-paced med-surg environment
• Manage patient assignments of 1:5, occasionally 1:6
• Collaborate with CNAs and interdisciplinary teams for optimal outcomes
• Float to acute care, cardio units, or EC as needed
• Complete general and floor-specific orientation prior to independent shifts
