Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour shifts, 6:45 to 7:15
• Alternating weekends required
• Holidays as needed

Qualifications:

• RN license with at least 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience (including 1 previous travel assignment)
• Current AHA BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR preferred, but not mandatory
• Comfortable with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5, possibly 1:6
• Team player open to floating within acute and cardio care areas as needed

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality patient care in a 44-bed unit
• Partner with a supportive team and nurse aides (CNA ratios 1:8, occasionally 1:10)
• Adapt to a fast-paced medical-surgical setting, caring for a range of patient needs
• Attend a comprehensive 1-week orientation (including 2 days of focused unit training)
• Wear Caribbean Blue scrubs in alignment with unit requirements
