Travel Med-Surg Nurse (RN) - Albemarle, NC

Schedule/Hours:

• Flexible travel scheduling (shift details provided during interview)
• Orientation includes two days departmental and NEO

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Active RN license
• Minimum 18 months of recent MedSurg/Tele experience preferred
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Experience with stroke care, cardiac rhythm interpretation, chest tube management, PIV starts, trach care, and complex drain/tube systems
• Familiarity with cardiac drips, heparin, blood products, and infusion management

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care for patients with varied diagnoses: stroke, COPD, chest pain, AMS, and GI bleeds
• Patient load typically 1:5-6; may fluctuate with acuity
• Perform assessments, medication administration, and advanced interventions within the RN scope
• Float within the regional network as required
• Collaborate with CNAs, charge nurses, and hospitalists for holistic patient care
