Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse in Albion, MI

Candidates should be comfortable adapting to various care settings, including the potential to work on a lockdown unit.

Schedule:

• 7AM to 7PM shifts
• 13-week assignment
• Opportunity for overtime after 48 hours

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Michigan
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Med Surg setting
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Strong clinical skills, flexibility, and professional adaptability
• Preferred: Base telemetry experience
• Willingness to float to units of equal or lower acuity, including a lockdown unit

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care to adult medical-surgical patients
• Perform thorough assessments, implement appropriate nursing interventions, and document care accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient-centered care
• Respond to changes in patient status promptly, using critical thinking and clinical judgment
• Float between units as needed to meet patient care needs, maintaining the highest standard of practice
