Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) | Albion, Michigan

This 13-week contract role is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with strong Med Surg experience and flexibility to float as needed across units. Your expertise and compassionate approach will play a vital role in supporting patients and collaborating with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals.

Schedule:

• 7PM to 7AM shifts
• Must be available to float to equal or lesser acuity units as required

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg RN experience
• Active Michigan RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Ability and willingness to float to other units, including a lockdown unit if requested
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Preferred: Base telemetry experience

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive and attentive patient care in the medical-surgical unit
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Respond promptly to patient needs and adapt to varying acuity levels
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records
• Safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality at all times
• Support a safe and respectful environment for all patients and staff

$1,688 - $1,847/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
