Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse in Albion, MI

Step into a vital nursing role providing quality care in a Med Surg setting. This position requires flexibility, strong clinical skills, and a commitment to supporting patients through their treatment and recovery process. This is a contract-based opportunity on the night shift.

Schedule:

• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract
• Auto offers available
• Opportunity for overtime after 48 hours
• Must be willing to float to units of equal or lesser acuity as needed
• May be required to float to a lockdown unit

Qualifications:

• Current and unencumbered Michigan RN license
• Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in a Med Surg RN role
• Valid BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association
• Preferred: Experience with base telemetry
• Ability to adapt quickly and work confidently in various unit environments

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and execute patient care plans within a Med Surg environment
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to achieve the best possible patient outcomes
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients’ conditions
• Administer medications and treatments according to protocols and physician orders
• Float to additional units as assigned, maintaining high standards of care across different patient populations
• Adhere to infection control policies and patient safety standards

$1,688 - $1,847/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
