Experienced Registered Nurses with a background in Medical-Surgical care are invited to play a key role in a dynamic clinical environment. This 13-week opportunity offers engagement across various medical-surgical units, providing exposure to multiple patient populations and collaborating with a dedicated interdisciplinary team.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Multiple shifts available on various medical-surgical floors
  • 13-week assignment

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license required
  • Minimum of two years' experience in a Medical-Surgical nursing setting (RN-MS)
  • Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records is a must
  • Applicants must be able to commit to the assignment without requesting time off
  • Candidate profile should include a resume or work history with no gaps greater than 60 days
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult patients on medical-surgical units
  • Manage admission, transfer, and discharge processes in alignment with best practices
  • Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders and protocols
  • Monitor patient conditions, document assessments, and report changes promptly
  • Coordinate with physicians, case managers, and allied health professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Provide education and support to patients and families throughout the care continuum
  • Maintain compliance with infection prevention and safety guidelines at all times
