Schedule & Requirements:
- 13-week contract assignment
- Openings available on multiple Med-Surg floors
- Manager will conduct interviews and make offers directly
- No Requested Time Off (RTO) permitted for this assignment
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license
- Recent Med-Surg experience (RN-MS)
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records system (required)
- Work history/resume demonstrating no employment gaps greater than 60 days
- Strong clinical skills and ability to thrive in high-acuity settings
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Dedication to compassionate, patient-centered care
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients on a Medical-Surgical floor
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes using the EPIC system
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and respond to patient needs promptly
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Adhere to facility policies, infection control protocols, and evidence-based nursing practices
