Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state
  • Minimum of 1 year professional experience in a medical-surgical (MS) setting
  • Strong patient assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
  • Compassionate, team-oriented, and detail-focused approach to patient care

Schedule & Hours:

  • Contract position with flexible shifts available, including days, evenings, and nights (as needed by the unit)
  • Full-time hours

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop/implement individualized care plans
  • Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and provide patient education and support
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes
  • Document nursing interventions and patient responses accurately in medical records
  • Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards
  • Serve as a patient advocate, ensuring comfort and dignity throughout the hospital stay
