Schedule:

• Day shift, 12 hours
• Every other weekend required
• Floating to similar units as needed
• Holidays as scheduled

Qualifications:

• Active RN license and two years of recent stroke/neuro experience (three years preferred)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (must be submitted up front)
• Passing score on EKG test required
• Flexibility to float to like units when necessary

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to stroke/neuro/telemetry patients
• Monitor, evaluate, and document patient status and progress
• Collaborate within interdisciplinary teams to execute tailored care plans
• Maintain proficiency in telemetry monitoring and acute neuro care
• Adapt to varied unit protocols through robust orientation support (24-32 hours)
