Travel Med-Surg Nurse (RN) - Arlington Heights, IL

Scheduled Details:

• Day Shift, 12-hour shifts
• Work every other weekend
• Floating to like units as needed
• Holiday coverage required as scheduled

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license (MS/TELE focus)
• Minimum 2 years’ recent stroke/neuro experience required (3 years preferred)
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required; Passing EKG test verification at submission
• Ability to float to similar units
• Ready to begin within two weeks of offer

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert care to medical-surgical/telemetry patients, emphasizing neuro/stroke management
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to implement evidence-based practices and ensure optimal outcomes
• Accurately document and communicate patient assessments, interventions, and progress
• Adjust to a fast-paced environment and float to similar units as patient needs evolve
• Engage proactively with patients and families for comprehensive care planning
