Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) - Atlanta, Georgia

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse with a medical-surgical background to make a positive impact during a 13-week contract assignment. This role is vital to supporting multiple medical-surgical units, offering an engaging and rewarding clinical environment.

Schedule/Hours:

• Assignment duration: 13 weeks
• Multiple shifts and floors available

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current RN license with strong experience in med-surg nursing
• Recent hands-on experience in a medical-surgical hospital setting
• Proficient in using EPIC electronic medical record system (EPIC experience required)
• Availability throughout the assignment with no requested time off (NO RTO permitted)
• Ability to provide a comprehensive work history or resume with no employment gaps over 60 days
• Strong clinical judgment, adaptability across floors, and excellent patient care skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient-centered nursing care across various med-surg floors according to established protocols
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to create a safe, caring environment
• Accurately document patient interventions and responses in EPIC
• Assess, plan, and evaluate patient needs, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and implementing physician orders
• Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and families
• Ensure patient safety and participate in quality improvement initiatives as needed
