Step into a dynamic nursing environment specializing in Medical-Surgical and Intermediate Care, where you will play a key role in patient care on a 37-bed telemetry unit. As a valued Registered Nurse, you will collaborate with a dedicated team of RNs, patient care technicians, and support staff, ensuring high-quality outcomes and a positive experience for every patient.

Schedule:

  • 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM shift
  • Contract assignment

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
  • Medical-surgical or intermediate care nursing experience
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Positive, engaged attitude with the ability to work independently

Desired Experience:

  • Familiarity with central lines, medication drips, heart catheterization recovery, and bubble studies
  • Experience with PCA pumps, IV pumps, and chest tubes
  • Proficiency using Meditech EMR is a plus

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Managing telemetry patients, including those recovering from heart catheterizations
  • Administering medications and monitoring patient response
  • Performing and assisting with typical unit procedures, such as central line care
  • Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated patient care
  • Maintaining detailed and accurate electronic medical records
