Travel Med-Surg Nurse (RN) in Aztec, NM

Qualifications:

• Current, unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in a medical-surgical (MS) unit
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Detailed-oriented with proficiency in electronic health records

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with diverse medical conditions
• Monitor, assess, and report changes in patient status promptly
• Administer medications, IVs, and treatments according to physician orders and protocols
• Educate patients and their families on care plans and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
