Schedule & Hours

• 12-hour shifts: 6:45 am – 7:15 pm or 6:45 pm – 7:15 am
• Every other weekend rotations
• Holiday coverage as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Med-Surg nursing, with at least 1 previous travel assignment
• Active RN license
• AHA BLS & AHA NIHSS certifications required
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR helpful, not required
• Strong multi-tasking abilities and commitment to patient-centered care

Responsibilities

• Manage a patient ratio of 1:5, possibly 1:6 (day and night)
• Collaborate with a team of 40 staff and nurse aides (CNA ratio typically 1:8, sometimes 1:10)
• Float to acute care, cardio, or EC units as needed
• Monitor patients requiring telemetry (remotely monitored)
• Complete comprehensive orientation, including EMR training
