Qualifications:

• Current and unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of one year of recent experience in a medical-surgical (Med Surg) nursing role
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Strong knowledge of Med Surg nursing best practices, patient assessment, and documentation
• Ability to communicate clearly with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members
• Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care, following established protocols and individualized plans
• Accurately assess, monitor, and record patients’ progress and conditions
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures safely and efficiently
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment, medications, and ongoing care needs
• Ensure the highest standard of patient safety and comfort throughout each shift
• Maintain thorough, timely, and accurate patient records
• Uphold infection control protocols and compliance standards at all times
