Registered Nurse Med Surg | Bessemer, Alabama

Schedule:

• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, providing consistent daytime coverage
• 13-week contract assignment

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license, with current credentials to practice
• Minimum of one year experience in a Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) setting preferred
• Proven ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Strong communication and clinical documentation skills
• Proficiency with EMR systems and technology used in acute care environments
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans for Med Surg patients
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform wound care and other nursing interventions
• Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment
• Coordinate patient care activities with interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal outcomes
• Provide clear education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment and recovery
• Maintain compliance with all facility protocols, policies, and procedures
