As a Stepdown RN working night shifts, you’ll refine your clinical acumen by caring for medically complex patients with cardiac needs. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult medical-surgical and stepdown patients, particularly those with cardiac needs
• Monitor, interpret, and respond to cardiac rhythms and patient conditions
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to implement patient-centered care plans
• Safely administer IV medications and manage advanced monitoring equipment
• Accurately document clinical findings and interventions in the medical record
• Promote a healing environment through compassionate patient and family education

Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Previous cardiac experience required
• Experience in stepdown and medical-surgical units strongly preferred
• Current ACLS and BLS certification
• Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
• A passion for patient advocacy and continued professional development
