Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) - Bessemer, Alabama

Schedule/Hours:

Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted RN license
• Proven experience in a Medical-Surgical nursing setting
• Current BLS certification (AHA or equivalent)
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and changing patient needs

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care for adult patients in the med-surg unit
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Monitor patient condition and promptly report any changes to the healthcare team
• Administer medications, IVs, and other prescribed treatments safely and efficiently
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and ongoing care requirements
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and ancillary staff to ensure positive patient outcomes
• Uphold infection control, patient safety, and quality assurance standards in all aspects of care

$1,815 - $1,920/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
