Schedule/Hours

• Shift times: 0645-1915; 1845-0715
• Schedule cycle: every 6 weeks
• Weekend rotation: every other
• Possibility of low census call
• Holiday coverage: 75%
• Up to 6 days of requested time off (excluding holidays, per contract terms)

Key Qualifications

• Active RN license with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Tele RN experience (first-time travelers welcome)
• Proficient with EPIC EMR (minimum 6 months’ documented experience)
• Practice in cardiac rhythm interpretation, non-titrating cardiac drips, IV starts, blood administration, wound care, and care for patients with tubes/drains
• Willingness to float within the regional system as needed

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive patient care on a 24-bed unit (RN ratio typically 1:5-6)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including CNAs, hospitalists, intensivists, and respiratory therapists
• Utilize clinical technology such as Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell, and Massimo monitors
• Support a positive, team-oriented unit culture
