Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) | Birmingham, Alabama

Step into a vital Med Surg nursing role on a supportive surgical unit, working nights for a 13 to 16-week contract. This position offers a structured, collaborative environment where your clinical skills and adaptability can make a real difference in patient outcomes.

Schedule/Hours:

• Night shifts
• 36 hours/week (3 x 12-hour shifts)
• Every other weekend required
• Three holiday shifts required (major/minor mix: 11/27, 11/28, 12/24, 12/25, 12/31, 1/1)

Qualifications:

• Active and clear AL or multistate compact RN license (no pending applications)
• Minimum of 2 years dedicated experience in Med Surg or surgical specialty
• Demonstrated previous travel nursing experience
• Proficient with Cerner electronic medical record system
• Flexible with scheduling needs; unable to accommodate blocked schedules
• Willingness to fulfill assigned holiday shifts
